
SINGAPORE POLICE FORCE (OVERSEAS) SCHOLARSHIP
The SPF Overseas Scholarship is a prestigious scholarship awarded by the Public Service Commission. It is awarded to 'A' level holders who have shown outstanding academic performance and leadership qualities, and are keen to serve in the Singapore Police Force.

| Candidates who do not meet academic criteria would be considered for scholarships if they have outstanding leadership qualities and CCA records |

*Applicants intending to pursue a degree in Law will not be called to the Bar while serving in the SPF
Condition of Award
Scholars would be bonded for 6 years (English speaking countries) or 5 years (non English speaking countries) starting from the day they assume duty after completing their course of study.
Career Development
Senior Police Officers would be rotated for the Initial, Command and Staff postings in the first 6 years of their career.
Scholars could be placed on the PSC's Management Associates Programme where they could be posted outside the Police Force for exposure.

The Scholarship is awarded to promising students to pursue undergraduate studies in overseas universities. Upon graduation, they will pursue a career as Senior Officers in the uniformed services - Singapore Police Force, Singapore Civil Defence Force, Singapore Prison Service or Central Narcotics Bureau.

The Local Merit Scholarship (LMS) is awarded to promising students to pursue undergraduate studies in local universities. Upon graduation, they will pursue a career as Senior Officers in the uniformed services - Singapore Police Force, Singapore Civil Defence Force, Singapore Prison Service or Central Narcotics Bureau.
